NEW for 2014, Myrna & Blair Anderson have organized the sponsorship of 15 beautiful buckles for the CCMSA Season Leader in each class for Pistol!! These will be awarded at Em Te Town at the Awards Banquet Sat Sept 5th .

The chase for these buckles will be called “The 2014 CCMSA Buckle Challenge” series of  shoots. Also in the spirit of bringing new shooters in to the sport, Niels Lausten has sponsored one original Troy Fischer “Jabari Rookie of the Year” buckle worth over $1000 dollars!

 RULES for the 2014 CCMSA Buckle Challenge

The following rules to apply to this years “CCMSA Buckle Challenge” and Troy Fischer “Jabari Rookie of the Year”:

a)      Points are ONLY earned by CCMSA current members at shoots identified as “CCMSA Buckle Challenge” and will include Rookie tracking as well.

b)      Must attend a minimum of 3 CCMSA shoots to qualify to attend Em Te Town Finals on Sept 5th. Currently we have 6 shoots on the schedule. There is still interest in including some Jackpots.

c)       Each pistol class winner has the highest points accumulated by and including the Saturday Sept 5th shoot at Em Tee Town will be awarded a beautiful buckle as the conclusion to the “The 2014 CCMSA Buckle Challenge”.

The Rookie with the highest points will be awarded the “Jabari Rookie of the Year” buckle.

d)      Points are not tracked for non-CCMSA members

e)      Points follow the rider if they advance in CMSA level in 2014 season ( includes rookies)

f)       Points are awarded one point for each competitor he or she places above in the overall standing for PISTOL. In the case of multiple point events (ie) 2x, members earn points on the same basis but are multiplied by the appropriate number.

g)      Must have one horse in main match for tracking – time-onlys do NOT count towards Year end

h)      Em Te Town Finals on Saturday Sept 5th is last opportunity to earn “ CCMSA Buckle Challenge” points. This is so Buckles can be awarded at the Saturday Night Banquet. Awards for Shotgun and Rifle Leaders will also be handed out along with Jabari Rookie of the Year.

Sunday Sept 6th will be a CMSA points shoot and open to non-CCMSA members to encourage more people to come check out this sport! There will be an overall Sat + Sun payout for the weekend.

Additionally both days will count towards the CMSA Canadian Championship title for 2014. More details to come on this

i)        Rookie of the year is ONE Male or Female CCMSA competitor entered to compete in Main Match in 2014 Season with the highest accumulated points( CCMSA Season started Jan 1, 2014 to Em Te Town Sept 5th, 2014)
